But she shows her religious hypocrisy by owning slaves and calling them niggers, while knowing that the Bible states to treat others as you would like to be treated. She clearly doesn’t show that. This is clearly pointed out by Twain, showing the Americans that most of them choose to be religious hypocrites by owning slaves and being a devout Christian. This can be seen today through jokes by religious sects. Even though one may not believe what the other believes about the same religion, people still make fun of others simply for being in a different religion, when there own Holy book states treat others the way you want to be treated.
